Orienteering Team

Orienteering Results Nov 15 Ulv.

Will, Caden, Euan and Jack deserve a special mention as “newbies” with notable positions.   Kira and Matthew were promising “nearlies” with  just minor mistakes, and our more experienced Andrew and Isaac being consistently clear.  Finally, an impressive hat-trick from Harvey; 3 wins with impressive speed. Well done everyone!

Note:  “M” means you missed that control. “W” means you went to the wrong control. Don’t dwell on the ones you got wrong though – look at all you got right!

Hopefully our other team members will join us at the next event in Feb. (Patrick, Megan, Georgia and Jess). Plus maybe some more newbies!

For team events the top 3 positions count.

For Carlisle qualifier the top 3 girls and top 3 boys count. So we need strength in numbers!

Well done to the 9 pupils who turned out in the cold and wet weather for today’s orienteering event: Caden,Matthew,Jack,Euan,Kira were our newest team members; while Isaac, Will, Harvey and Andrew were our continuing members.

We didn’t win Herdie back but came a close 2nd to our friendly rivals Holy Family.

I know we will have a bigger team turnout next time and I’m sure we’ll have better weather too!

I will post/print individual results once Lecky sends them through.

Thanks also to parents for supporting this wet event!
