Busy bees 🐝

Class One have been learning about the work of bees as part of British Science Week 2019. First we looked at the life cycle of a bee and then we learned about pollination. Here we are being bees and pollinating the flowers! πŸπŸ΅οΈπŸπŸŒΈπŸπŸ’πŸπŸŒΉπŸπŸŒΊπŸ Next we want to find out how bees make honey 🍯🍯

About Burlington CE Primary School

We are a small village school situated on the Duddon Estuary approximately 10 minutes away from the Lake District National Park. We pride ourselves in being part of the heart of the community of Kirkby in Furness. We have close links with St Cuthbert's Church and Kirkby Community Centre.
